New partnership with TSG

Cotrako S.r.l. announces a new collaboration with TSG – Tokheim Sofitam Italia, a company with 30 years of experience in the supply, maintenance and construction of service station equipment, specializing in providing fuel distribution solutions.

Thanks to this collaboration we can offer the highest level of service in the turnkey design and construction of LNG stations.

TSG states:

“We are proud of this new partnership with Cotrako, which will allow TSG to strengthen its presence in the liquid natural gas sector, expanding the range of services offered,” – says Fabiano Clerico, Managing Director of Tokheim Sofitam Italia.

The collaboration between the technicians of the two entities will be the added value, making Cotrako and TSG the best partners for those who want to invest in the LNG sector.

Our installations

The new liquefied natural gas plants.

Increasing energy independence, with beneficial effects on both the environment and prices. With the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, Middle East tensions, and increasingly concerned alarms about global warming, this has become a major goal of all Western countries. So much so that somewhat all governments, including Italy’s, are increasingly looking at LNG, liquefied natural gas.

LNG (liquefied natural gas) is a fuel gas that is obtained by appropriate chemical-physical treatments natural gas (90-99% present). In the liquid phase it is lighter than water and in the gas phase it is lighter than air. It is transported in tanks and stored in cryogenic tanks.

Liquefaction makes it possible to reduce the volume of gas by 600 times compared to standard conditions resulting in savings in transportation and storage costs as well as greater efficiency in the energy production process.

The “Pluses” of LNG

  • Simplicity in plant management and maintenance phases
  • Possibility of implementing the plant even where the pipeline is absent
  • Economic savings compared to other fuels and lower price volatility over time
  • Better efficiency than classical gases due to better physical characteristics (high PCI, high density)
  • Lower environmental impact due to low production of pollutant emissions into the atmosphere

Cotrako is able to provide its customers with turnkey solutions regarding all fields of technological application of LNG, collaborating with partners of sure competence and reliability.

The congenial areas of work for these applications are:

Industrial LNG plants

Cotrako is able to provide the customer with LNG systems for industrial use, adapting the technical solutions used to the specific requests and needs with which they are faced. An elastic and reliable working method, with many pre-assembly activities in the workshop, allows a strong reduction in construction time and costs.

Preheating, reduction, odorization and measurement units

Cotrako provides the customer with ad-hoc solutions regarding reduction and measurement units applicable in all proposed LNG installations. Building on its extensive experience in the field, Cotrako adapts solutions to any of its customers’ needs.

Automotive LNG plants

The autotraction sector in Italy is very promising, although still seemingly unripe. Cotrako’s experience in the LNG combustion sector has laid the groundwork to be able to confidently address the autotraction LNG market. Cotrako is able to offer its customers both turnkey solutions and supplies of individual technological equipment such as cryogenic pumps and valves, vaporizers, and tanks.

Customer support services in the area of LNG facilities:

Electrical assemblies

The solid partnerships built with highly specialized players allow Cotrako to deal with any kind of intervention, adapting the identified solutions to the client’s needs in a continuous and constructive technical-commercial exchange.

Mechanical and pneumatic assemblies

Cotrako’s high level of expertise and experience in this field allows the customer to interface with a company capable of providing complete assistance, up to the commissioning of the system through a real turnkey service.

Design and Commissioning

The considerable experience gained in the relatively young LNG sector brings Cotrako to the forefront in identifying the client’s technical needs and consequently in planning and implementing projects, as well as their complete management at the construction site and at the commissioning stage.
